As the City has declared a stage 2 water shortage, residents and businesses city-wide have so far managed to help cut back water usage by 16 percent–extremely close to the City’s 20 percent goal! The City requires residents and businesses to follow the City’s two day per week watering schedule, while violators are sent notices. Since May, customers have helped the City reach closer towards its goal. City parks and facilities have cut back by 38 percent.
Right now, the City wants to know what residents and businesses are doing to help spare the water. We’re also interested in finding out new ways the community can cutback.
