City of Sacramento crews have been working to repair the traffic signal at Alhambra Boulevard and J Street that is currently functioning as an all-way stop.
The signal was previously damaged last year from a lightning strike that shorted electronic components in the signal and burned some underground wiring, according to officials.
The light is currently working in an “all red flashing mode.”
Staff will replace underground wiring and metal infrastructure in the coming days. Full operations are expected to be restored soon.
Motorists are urged to drive with caution. They should expect traffic delays and avoid the area if possible.
